South London
Streatham, SW16
A full bathroom renovation in south London, delivered in two weeks for a contract value of £11,500.
The project
This was a full strip-out and rebuild rather than a cosmetic refresh. The existing room was taken back to the substrate so the layout, the services and the waterproofing could all be addressed properly rather than worked around.
At £11,500 and two weeks on site, this is the most compact of our recent bathroom projects. Keeping to a fortnight depends on the layout staying broadly where it is — once soil and waste have to move, the programme lengthens whatever the budget.
What was involved
Strip-out and disposal, first fix plumbing and electrics, waterproofing to wet areas, full tiling, sanitaryware and brassware installation, glazing, and decoration. Everything was commissioned and tested as it went in, and the room was snagged by us before handover.
